Aug 10, 2022 · Well after a runaround between Chamberlain and Tesla support, I finally got a confirmation that the controller I have for my garages MYQ-G0201 is not fully compatible with the Tesla security protocols. I just bought the latest controller MYQ-G0401-ES and it worked perfectly. Cost me $20 bucks but it was worth it. I love the functionality. You cannot use myQ garage doors with Tesla without a subscription. There is a one-year ($45), 5-year ($179), and 10-year ($299) subscription plan that you can easily find on the official myQ website .Else you can use the garage door remote control that comes with the MyQ door opener or the MyQ phone app for no cost. Saw my email about trial expired and went into myqservices web site and bought the 5year plan. Everything is working now. Bummer that I didn't realize the myQ controller was free with trial, otherwise I would of saved $30.
