But since then I found, like when stopping for gas and turning off the engine and NOT getting out of the vehicle, then re-starting the engine the chime and flashing light comes on. The only way I found to fix this is either, one, put the seat belt on, or two, shut the engine off again, get out of the vehicle then get back in and start the engine.Slowly connect and disconnect the seat belt watching that the seat belt light turns on and off.
