I was able to get a hold of a verizon rep that knew what he was doing and here is what we did. 1. Activated ONT port over the phone at no charge. 2. factory reset my old actiontech router. 3. plugged my firewall into the ONT with cat6. 4. plugged the WAN port of actiontech to lan port on my firewall.My installation was 5 days ago. At the time of install a new line was run to the house, a new ONT and quantum router were installed. Since the time of the install, the internet will work for a few hours and then cut out. I went through all the online troubleshooting and phone tech troubleshooting. we reset the router and ONT at least 50 times.
