I haven't drilled and tapped mine, but if you could provide some more information about the year of your Jeep you'll get an answer soon I'm sure. That sounds like an interesting project.

I thought I had a solid mount location for my redneck ram as it tracked smoothly, but alas, it's not parallel enough to the tie rod and bent a little. I mounted the cylinder to the Duff track bar riser plate and it's too far back from the tie rod. A few questions: 1. I am leaning toward installing the ram fixed to the passenger side (probably to the track bar riser bracket) and the rod end attached to the tie rod. I have read about either attaching the rod end to the tie rod or the drag link.
