Mar 13, 2012 · Broken radiator nipple repaired. I fixed the radiator a couple of days ago and it is working perfect! I went to the local Ace Hardware and got a 1/4 brass hose nipple. I then got a plummer's tap with the exact threads to match the brass nipple. Carefully drilled a 21/64 hole through the hole in the radiator.The Rav4 held up well. Hole in upper corner of radiator where nipple broke off. Before epoxy showing 1/4"-3/8" Barbed Fitting in the hole with the aluminum bracket and screw support.
