The chicken quality was average, but the cook on them was very poor. Of the 5 pieces of chicken ordered, only the wing was cooked decent. The other 4 pieces were extremely dry and felt like they been sitting on the heat lamp too long. The chicken breast was non existent as I was given a 3rd of a regular breast.In a separate bowl, combine the dry ingredients. Pour the oil in a large frying pan and heat over medium heat until bubbling. Dip each piece of chicken into the egg and then dip into the flour mixture and coat well. Place the chicken on a drying rack and allow it to sit for 25 minutes. Fry the chicken skin side down for 5 minutes. Service for lunch hour (around 11:45) was really slow. Waited almost 15 minutes for three tenders, mashed potatoes, and a biscuit. When I got the chicken, it was obviously not fresh and not very crunchy which is understandable considering they cook in large. Overall, not a very good experience and will not be returning to this Popeyes.
