The Kubota UDT2 viscosity is lower, in-between the JD Hygard and JD Low Viscosity Hygard. In making your decision, I would investigate if the Massey will perform o.k. with a lower viscosity hydrostatic fluid (UDT2), especially in the hot summer months. Maybe the guys at tractorbynet.com will be able to assist you more.Have replaced fluid in my RTV1100 with CAT hydraulic fluid some 40 hours ago, maybe next week I'll have an issue, my guess is no. Replace the fluid in my M9540 with UDT fluid about 5 hours ago, but don't plan to do it again unless there is proof the cost is worth it. They say it costs almost the same, so they don't bother stocking UDT or SUDT. They use SUDT2 in all Kubotas, old and new. $55 for 2.5 gallon jug.
