Certainly some one with better understanding will also chime in (and you may already know), however just sharing for others as an HK Pro shooter (Derek G) discusses swapping out the Locking Piece to the (#28) 80 degree vice OEM 100 degree if going suppressed specifically on the SP5K-PDW.AP5 handguard retainer is rougher cut and skewed forwards. Causes looser handguard fit. No pins on the SP5 Trigger housing. SP5 has Tighter fit on magazine latch, much smoother operation. AP5 rivets are smaller on the sling loop retainer. Bought the SP5K-PDW first and form 1 for SBR right off the get go. Shoots really nice. Personally, I use the Silencerco 3-lug adapter on my SP5/SP5K. Since I use the 3 lug exclusively, I put some blue loctite on my OEM thread protectors and they havent budged. I was under the impression that you want to have the TP mounted when using a 3-lug mount.The ACRO looks like a good option for the SP5 and SP5K. The KDG Sidelok mounts are nice. I run one on an MRO. I sorta wish the ACRO version matched the front/back lines of the ACRO, but that's insignificant nit picking. I'm waiting on the Gen 2 ACRO myself. According to Aimpoint, they shipping, but they are filling Military and LE …There aren't two "one rings" in LoTR. Sp5, you can never go wrong with a classic. The full size is a bit softer shooting, if that’s even a thing with a 9mm. The K is more compact and backpack-able. There’s almost no way to put a light on a K so there’s that. Both a ridiculous quiet when suppressed.

B&T lightweight skeletonized side-folders are HK endorsed and very popular as well.Also, 124 grain is typically supersonic even in short barrels, so generally 147 grain is going to be quieter. I doubt that the Omega 9K is quieter than the short Wolfman. The 9K is a 1.5” diameter, 4.56” long can, while the short Wolfman is 1.6” in diameter and 5.13” long, so a Wolfman is going to have more internal volume for suppression.The SP5 is more comfortable to shoot, but the SP5K definitely makes you feel cooler, though. If I had to choose one over the other, I think I'd go with the SP5K because I like how compact it is. I think the sear host is the biggest appeal, because other than that, I think the SP5K-PDW is better in almost every other way.Manufacturer. HK.
