Bilstein 5100's Adjustment Perch Question. I have a 3rd gen with an ARB bumper up front, and plans on adding a winch at some point in the future (currently do not have a winch, though). n the back, I will be using LC 8-wraps and Bilstein 5100's, and in the front I will be using the adjustable Bilstein 5100's with the Tundra TRD coils.Connect ABS sensor. -Torque to factory specs. Rear: -Wheels removed and SUV on stands. -Place jack on one side of rear axle and jack up so its easier to remove endlink bolt, remove shock. Coil will fall out. -Install new 5100 shock, put spacer on top of coil and reinstall endlink. -Repeat on other side.
