Genesis feels super over-condensed like a Forgotten World overhaul modpack, But UWE really makes you feel like your still playing Kenshi but with an increased difficulty cap and more content. Hydroponics always have 100% fertility and grow 10 of the crop. Normal farm relies on area fertility and can grow up to 35 crop at largest size. So theoretically, normal farm would beat Hydroponics. Hydroponics rely on power, if you don't have sufficient power or power cuts off due to no wind, you won't grow anything until power is restored.The South Wetlands is a swampy area easily recognized by the large lake in the middle.
