May 23, 2018 · The dmtl pump is mounted on the rear of the charcoal canister which is bolted to the car. There are 3 small screws that hold the pump to the the charcoal canister and they come out with a small torx bit. After removing those screws and one fitted line that comes off by pressing 2 tabs, the pump pulls off easily for replacement. Independent quoted me $154.55 pump, $33.13 filter, $288 parts and labor. So with tax around 3 bills. If I had time, I'd do this myself. The only tools you need are an 8mm and 10mm socket and a ratchet or wrenches. It would be easy peasy to do it your self and save the money.

One member took out the DMTL pump and used an air compressor to clean it out and it fixed it for him.
