Swapping an F100 onto a Crown Vic is not a new swap, whatsoever! And, it's SUPER EASY!!! The short bed F100's and Crown Vics wheelbase are within an inch of each other. I have a buddy that didn't his swap in about 3 weeks, only working onnit some evenings and on weekends.

Will have the 4.6L modular and 4R75E that came in the C-Vic (3.55 gears with Trac-Loc in the back). Here in South Florida, the local junkyard has like 30+ Crown Victorias, all rust free, with perfect bodies. You could swap out your body for one of these (get the rolling frame for $100 bucks). Just something to think about. The body isn't so heavy. The big frame underneath means you can pretty much cut everything else away to make something crazy, like say, a General Lee Dodge Charger from a freaking Ford Crown Victoria.
