Best powders for 223

So the question is what is the best powder for both the .223's and .308, will handle heavier bullets in .308, and will get me the velocity needed to push the large pills out to 1000 yards? From what research I've done, BL-C(2) and Varget will work but I'm not sure about BL-C(2)'s ability to get the velocity I need in the .308.

Greetings, Need to pick your brain for the best powder for reloading .223 AR-15, 55 gr. bullets. I've heard that 748 has had some issues with pressure spikes. I used it in 223/5.56 with a 55g HPFB Varmint Nightmare, 24.5g TAC. Had very good results with it, it's my go to bulk powder. I shoot it out of an M4 V5 DD 16" AR and my DD 11.5" SBR, both suppressed with a SAS M-455. Very consistent, excellent measuring powder.If you have good, clean, accurate loads with 55gr bullets I would say, for most shooting uses, you would be pretty close when going to the 62gr bullets using the same powder.
