Some words of wisdom I have experienced is some of the rear main seals out there (Felpro) have come out with a double lip seal which is a "puke green" color and should be better I had terrible luck with 2 on the same car. I am talking newly built engine and changed twice with less than 20 miles.Almost impossible to tell without dropping a dye in the engine oil. It could be the trans input shaft or rear main. Also looks like the O ring on that line in the 3rd photo is leaking. If it were me, I would soak the thing in engine degreaser and pressure wash the best I could. I do however know that with the factory parts a lack of oil soking the seal will cause the seal to bind so tight the starter will not be strong enough to crank the engine.
