The 4L60 have the 3.06 low, a 1.64 2nd, 1.1 3rd and .7 4th. The 4L80E has a 2.48 low, 1.48 2nd, 1.1 3rd and a .75 4th. The overall drivabity is better in the 4L80E, but for me it wasn't worth the extra cost.
